ATM doesn't follow through with motion of no confidence in President Ramaphosa

The motion of no confidence in President Cyril Ramaphosa brought by the African Transformation Movement National Assembly has fallen away in the National Assembly. The party, which had placed it on the order paper, had declined to move it. Speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula has ruled that since the party has not moved ahead with the motion, there is nothing for the house to debate. She allowed political parties to make statements regarding the way forward before making this ruling. After this parliament then continued with the motion of no confidence in the cabinet debate.
