The motion of no confidence in President Cyril Ramaphosa brought by the African Transformation Movement National Assembly has fallen away in the National Assembly. The party, which had placed it on the order paper, had declined to move it. Speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula has ruled that since the party has not moved ahead with the motion, there is nothing for the house to debate.
