Emergency services have extinguished an underground fire in the Johannesburg CBD. According to Johannesburg EMS, City Power underground cables caught alight underneath Anderson and Ntemi Piliso Streets, yesterday morning. The underground blaze took firefighters the entire day to completely extinguish.
At this stage it’s still unclear how the fire started.
