Driving school owners call for the scrapping of eNatis online booking system

There could be a breakthrough in the standoff between disgruntled driving school owners in Gauteng and the provincial transport department. A deal is expected in the driving license online booking system matter, which driving schools are unhappy about. Driving school owners in Gauteng staged protests and shutdown at some DLTC’s in Pretoria in protest against the eNatis online booking system. They demanded that the online booking system be scrapped as it cripples their businesses. The Gauteng transport department says although all DLTC’s are fully operational again, the agreement can restore lasting stability to ensure services to the public, while protecting driving school businesses.
