One of the big bakkie manufacturers, Isuzu, is launching a mass production line in its Gqeberha-based plant in Struandale in the Eastern Cape today.
The new production line will produce the new Isuzu D-MAX set to be launched later.
The new line is expected to directly safeguard one thousand jobs and an additional twenty-four thousand jobs indirectly.
