Higher Health CEO Professor Ramneek Ahluwalia says the threat posed by COVID-19 is still very real and prevalent. In a statement the organisation has released, Prof. Ahluwalia concurs with the World Health Organisation that current conditions are ideal for the emergence of more transmissible and more dangerous variants of coronavirus. In the last 24 hours the National Institute for Communicable diseases has recorded 2 267 new cases and nine deaths.
