About R9-billion worth of water is lost every year due to leakages and old infrastructure. That’s according to the Minister of Cooperative Governance Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma. The minister says that part of the municipal infrastructure grant will go towards maintenance and repairs. Poor infrastructure is often blamed for the sometimes deadly flooding, such as that in KwaZulu-Natal recently. #DStv403
