A 5-kilometre walk, prayer meeting and dialogue around gender-based violence has been taking place in Tembisa, on Gauteng’s east rand.
This comes just a week after a nurse from Tembisa Hospital was gunned down, allegedly by her policeman boyfriend.
Tembisa is among the areas identified as a crime hotspot in the country.
