2022 Academic Year | UFS students unhappy with mandatory vaccination policy: Temba Hlasho

The University of the Free State has introduced a mandatory vaccination policy and all students will be required to produce vaccination confirmation to access the institution’s three campuses. But student organisations are against the move. They say they will not allow universities to exclude students on the basis of their vaccination status.
Registration at the university is still under way for first year students after it was extended.
