The City of Cape Town has come under heavy scrutiny on its plans to sell public land that’s closer to the city to private developers.
The City, however, says it’s developed a new strategy to fast-track the disposal of unused pockets of land before the end of the financial year.
It says this will expedite the process of making social houses and low-cost housing accessible to its citizens
