The 15-member, Economic Community of West African States or ECOWAS has suspended Burkina Faso. The suspension follows a military coup in the country early this week. Ghana’s President and the acting ECOWAS chairperson, Nana Akufo-Addo says he hopes the regional body will find solutions to restore constitutional order to Burkina Faso and stabilise the region at large.
