The ANC in the Western Cape says it will open a case with the police, to have allegations made against suspended Provincial Minister of Community Safety, Albert Fritz, investigated.
Premier Alan Winde suspended Fritz at the weekend, for what he described as allegations of serious misconduct.
Fritz has since stepped aside from his position as DA leader in the province.
Four senior officials in his ministry have also been placed on precautionary suspension
