The matric class from Scottsville High School in Kraaifontein in Cape Town has achieved the best overall improvement in the Western Cape. The school has more than doubled its pass rate to 64%. Situated in an area with numerous social ills, including gang violence, the Class of 2021 had to pull out all the stops to make it through.
