The executive mayor of the eMalahleni local municipality in Mpumalanga, Linah Malatjie and her husband, Sepetlele, have been laid to rest in Emalahleni. Speaking during the funeral service of the couple at the Puma Stadium, Premier Refilwe Mtsweni Tsipane said the province lost a leader.
The coupled died in a car crash between eMalahleni and KwaMhlanga last week. Amongst the mourners were family members, friends, residents and senior ANC leaders.
