Thousands of people have fled the area of Niassa as militant attacks flare-up which have shifted to the new area in Mozambique. Felismino Patricio, a government spokesman in Niassa province said nearly 4 000 Mozambicans have fled their villages in a month due to intensifying attacks. The province is neighbouring militant hotbed, Cabo Delgado.
