A 51-year-old man is expected to appear in court within the next 48 hours in connection with Sunday morning’s fire at Parliament in Cape Town. Public Works Minister, Patricia De Lille told the media that the case is now in the Hawks’ hands. The fire caused the roof of the National Assembly wing to collapse. The fire damaged the third floor of the building, including the NCOP offices and parts of the gym.
