Russia’s Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi have promised to deepen bilateral cooperation as India looks at balancing its ties with the United States. The Russian President made a whirlwind trip to Delhi on Monday. Mr. Putin skipped both the G20 and COP26 summits this year and since the pandemic started, he has only left Russia once to meet American President Joe Biden in Geneva. Neha Poonia reports.
