A non-governmental organisation from George in the Southern Cape believes that eradicating gender-based violence is the responsibility of every South African. God Cares also believes in the restoration of a family, which includes getting help for the perpetrators so that they have a chance to make amends. Since 2004, the NGO has helped scores of victims along the Garden Route to rebuild their lives in the face of GBV.
