Yemeni former Prime Minister of Taiz on his book 'Prison Time in Sana'a'

A pregnant Yemeni journalist has been killed in a car explosion in Aden.
This is the latest incident of violence in Yemen’s southern port city.
In what some might describe as a forgotten war, Yemen has been mired in violence since the Iran-aligned Houthi movement ousted the internationally recognised government from the capital, Sana’a, in late 2014. Someone who knows how difficult the situation in Yemen is my next guest. A former mayor of Taiz in the southern part of the country, a physician and human rights activist, he was jailed for 300 days in Sana’a. Dr Abdulkader Al-Guneid joins me now to tell us about his book ‘Prison Time in Sana’a’ and the situation in Yemen.
