Taliban says it won't extend the August 31st deadline for Nato forces to leave Afghanistan

The Taliban says it won’t extend the August 31st deadline for Nato forces to leave Afghanistan.

The warning dashes hopes that the US and its European allies could extend the deadline for the evacuation of thousands of foreign nationals and at risk-Afghans.

Over the weekend, thousands were airlifted from Kabul Airport which is currently under US and British control.
