If greenhouse gas emissions are not cut drastically by 2030, humanity will have little chance of limiting the impact of climate change. That’s the warning by climate and global sustainability experts as the world marks Earth Day. They have warned that at the current rate, the Earth is on course for mass extinction which humans may never survive. They have called for urgent attention to end the use of fossil fuels.
