As temperatures plummeted across the country – for the homeless keeping indoors and warm isn’t an option.
Most are vulnerable and there are fewer places to take refuge from the weather and fewer ways to protect themselves outside.
Tshwane Emergency Services however says it’s on high alert to respond to any situation following the brazenly cold temperatures.
