Zambian opposition leader, Hakainde Hichilema, has appealed for calm as incoming election results keep him in the lead.
Taking to Twitter, Hichilema asked his supporters to refrain from violence amidst current tensions.
Yesterday, incumbent President Edgar Lungu, claimed the elections weren’t free nor fair.
