Last month, many parts of KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng were brought to a standstill, after a spate of sporadic violence. In KwaZulu-Natal reports estimated that more than 200 shopping malls were looted, and an estimated R20 billion was lost during the unrest. But now that the dust has settled, how are the communities coping with the aftermath and destruction?
